September 30th 2011, OnTime launches CM-1600 switch series for inflight data communication
OnTime launches the CM-1600 gigabit time sync switch series for inflight data communication with PTP support
Both PTP v1 and v2 Grand master and Transparent clock according to IEEE1588 Std 2002 and IEEE1588 Std 2008 are supported on the CM-1600 managed switch series.
This second generation PTP switches for inflight data communication from OnTime contains 8 x 10/100/1000BASE-TX ruggedized ports (Terrapine connectors).
