Industrial Ethernet switches

The Blueberry industrial Ethernet switches represent a wide product range.

All the switches are approved for relevant industrial environmental requirements including a wide temperature range and isolated redundant DC power input.

All the Blueberry switches are based on DIN rail mounting except for the BM-1900 series.  The switches in the BM-1900 is based on 19inch mounting.

The Blueberry switch family offers several Ethernet port combinations:

  • Port count ranges from 5-26
  • Up to four fiber SFP ports can be offered per switch
  • Almost any combination of fast (100Mbps) and gigabit Ethernet can be provided
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE) is supported on the BM-1700 series

The Blueberry switch family contains both unmanaged (BU) and managed (BM) switches. Management can be performed by the following protocols:

  • HTTP (web)
  • Telnet CLI
  • SNMP
  • OnTime Vision (own Windows tool)

Network redundancy is achived by using the OnTime ring protocol or by standard IEEE protocols: STP/RSTP/MSTP.

Multicast filtering can be performed by utilazing the IGMP snooping feature of the BM switches.  The user can also manually configure multicast filters.

VLAN according to IEEE802.1Q is also supported as well as security protocols such as IEEE802.1x.
