Industrial Ethernet extenders
One 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet port and two different interfaces are supported for the copper connection. The user can either use a terminal block or RJ-11 connector. The RM-311 of the Raspberry family supports management. Management can be performed by the following protocols:
The RU-111 is an unmanaged Ethernet Extender. The only configuration required for this unit is the mode of the Ethernet Extender. That means "Local" or "Remote". One of the two Raspberry Ethernet Extenders connected through the copper link must be "Local" and the other must be "Remote". A DIP switch available on the Ethernet Extender is used for this setting. The user can either connect two RU-111 units, two RM-311 units or each of this two types together. |
