Industrial converters

The Gooseberry industrial terminal servers and media converters represent a wide product range. All the terminal servers and converters are approved for relevant industrial environmental requirements. All the Gooseberry products are based on DIN rail mounting.

The Gooseberry terminal servers offers several port combinations:

• One or two 10/100BASE-T(X) Ethernet ports.  The unit can in case it contains two Ethernet ports either use the two ports for daisy chain (switch) use or as two Ethernet ports for redundant Ethernet connection
• One to four serial ports
• PoE (PD) support available on GM-342-P and GM-342-RP
• Rs485/Rs422 ports with 2KV isolation available on the GM-342-RP 

All the Gooseberry terminal servers are managed. Management can be performed by the following protocols:

• HTTP (web)
• Telnet CLI
• SNMP
• OnTime GM tool (own windows tool)

Both TCP and UDP sockets can be configured for the serial data sending through the Ethernet to other terminal servers or to a PC configured with a virtual COM port.

The Gooseberry converters offers conversion from Rs232 to Rs485/422 and repeater function of Rs485/422.  This converters are unmanaged.
