Aircraft standards

Aircraft approved Ethernet means
compliance to the following aircraft standards: RTCA DO-160E - "Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment" and D6-16050-5 Rev B - "Electromagnetic Interference Control Requirements for composite Airplanes".

Ethernet connectors

Military and aircraft approved Ethernet connectors are used for both copper (Mighty Mouse) and fiber (38999).


Products

Reference case

A customized managed 100BASE Ethernet switch with IEEE1588 support and a 24 port switch with 8 x 1000BASE-SX router for aircraft use, has been developed for the Boeing 787 in flight data acquisition and recording program.
